✨We always knew that our parish St. Mel’s which is where Camila also made her 1st Communion, was the right choice to celebrate our daughters 15th birthday. This past Saturday we confirmed that it’s the people here like Kerry & Susann that truly make our parish feel like home.
Speaking of home, we felt the love in the house of the Lord via the presence of the family and friends that drove long distances and showed up despite the rain. We felt the love in every single word and action of Fr. Steve, who we knew from the get-go, would make Camila feel comfortable and at ease while being in front of the cross, sitting next to the beautiful image of our Virgin of Guadalupe. Thank you Fr. Steve for blessing our daughter Camila, the family and our dear friends.
We deeply felt the love via the majestic voices and choir led masterfully by Francesco. Every single melody was delivered with so much beauty, grace and elegance that three days later, still causes a beautiful effect in my soul when I relive Camila’s entrance in the arm of her father, or during the delivery of flowers to our Holy Mother Mary, and of course the Eucharist.
Thank you amigo Walter, for dressing up our parish with your gorgeous and curated flower arrangements at the altar, especially the ones designed with love and delicacy for our dear Virgen de Guadalupe. 🌸
In the name of my entire family, and primarily our daughter Camila, we want to thank St. Mel’s from the bottom of our hearts for making March 23rd of 2024 extraordinary, memorable and quite honestly one of the best days of our lives. My husband Omar and I live for both our daughters and seeing them happy and healthy is what we strive for every single day. Camila reaching her 15th birthday surrounded by so much love in Jesus’ name is a beautiful sight to see, a blessing and the best birthday present she could ever receive. Thank you everyone involved for pouring your heart out and for touching ours forever. God bless you always. 💖
