Just show up. Saw these three powerful words on @lavishedingrace IG a few days ago. They mean something a little different to me, but that’s the beauty in words. So many people have asked me recently “how I do it” meaning how I do a busy life with MS and not being able to walk which is my specific disability. There’s no magic in how I do it...you can try to define it any which way... I literally JUST SHOW UP as best I can everyday. #thisisms
Some days take a whole lot more effort. Some days are a breeze, in as much as a gentle wind that blows without disruption. If I fall, I get back up...sometimes not exactly right away. It’s all ok. We’re all going to be ok. Just keep showing up.
Last thing I’ll spam y’all with today 😂👊🏼🔥 that weigh in picture. .
I’d have a picture of me from my actual weigh in. But ya girl had to get naked 😂 or at least I thought from my home scale. Luckily it was a pound heavy.
The look I give to ppl when they say to me
“ you are lucky “🙄
See that sink in the ground , that’s was the type of sink of my early ages, not inside of our humble house, but outside.
I have no idea what’s like to be spoil , what’s like to get away with being a disrespectful kid. At age 6 old I was already washing my own clothes by hands and ironing whatever need it to be done
What I have is the will powerful,
work ethic of my and force if my mother.
There is no luck here, just a humble girl that grew poor and made it her mission not to die as one...
💚More of my story
Weekends can have the potential to be extremely derailing or in contrast you can use the extra time to propel forward.
It’s easy to find yourself consuming more alcohol as you enjoy social gatherings, indulging in foods you don’t normally eat and staying up late, feeling lazy the next day. As you go into this weekend ask yourself how you want to feel come Monday morning.
Don’t let the weekend set you back, be resilient in your pursuit of excellence. I’m guilty as anyone else, using the weekend as an excuse to get off track but instead use the weekend to rejuvenate, rest, and recover. Maybe you’ll even have tome to check out a new workout!
So Monday I got my first Strict Pull Up (no video 😢)! It came as a huge surprise to me because I haven’t been specifically chasing that as a goal.
A strict pull up is one of those milestone movements for most! Especially because women are often told they’re not strong enough to do pull-ups or they lack the upper body strength to perform a pull-up. FALSE!
With the right training, shoulder health and can-do mindset it can be done! Today I attempted again. Not only was I able to get another, I was also shocked at how much power I was getting with my Chest to Bar Pull Ups today!
The more you start saying “I can” the more things that seemed out of reach, fall right into your lap!
If I have learned anything in Human Design it’s to let go of the negative connotations and say I can and will have the things I want. I can have my dream matte black Range Rover. I can have my dream home on the cliffs somewhere with an ocean view. I can have a fun, sexy, trusting, and loving relationship. I can have twins. I can have true self love and be confident and happy. I can find a husband whose clean cut with ambition! I can fully connect spiritually and through human design mind, body, and soul. I can be a caring and life changing badass female detective. I can visit Croatia. I can have these things because they light me up! .
I can have the life I want because I choose to believe it! What can you have in your life? What lights you up? 🌟
Jangan memudahkan sesuatu yang kelihatannya mudah. Karena sebenarnya itu yang tersulit. Selamat Pagi Bank Bukopin. Selamat Pagi Indonesia.⠀⠀
