🗣🗣REAL TALK🗣🗣 Since I’ve been out of school (2017) I’ve been struggling. • • Struggling with finding where I belong and trying to find who I can trust or rely on. • • My first job right off the bat was an internship where I was working 80-100 hrs a week in a new country with no friends or family near me.. It sucked. After that I got a full time job an hour away. I was excited for that - it went down hill fast. Anyone who knows me personally knows that I was S-T-R-U-G-G-L-I-N-G. Add in some abusive relationships and BOOM. The perfect storm to lose yourself. I stopped doing things for me and started doing things to survive. • • I made a decision to leave my job.. This was a very tough decision since I felt like I was letting people down. They moved on quick and I thought “wow why didn’t I do this sooner”!!!??? • • • Now I have a job where I’m truly valued ❤️. I’ve moved into a place that I’ve always wanted and I’m in a state that I’ve always wanted to be in. • • Sometimes the darkest times brings the brightest futures! All I have to say is KEEP SWIMMING. Make decisions for yourself and put yourself first!!! My question will always be WHY DIDN’T I DO THIS SOONER? • • If you need a sign -> here it is 🛑🛑. Go do that thing you always wanted. Move to a new state. Slide into that DM. Take that person on a date. Cut your hair. Whatever. Because the world isn’t waiting. • • • I am so thankful for all the amazing people I’ve met and can rely on (y’all know who you are). ❓What’s one thing you would tell your past self? ⁉️ • For myself, I would tell 20 year old me to have better eating habits. I was 135lbs, had a high metabolism, could eat whatever I wanted and still have a “good” physique. BUT, was it the best for me? Not at all. Even though I was able to bench press 270lbs at this weight, if only I had thought at this time, “this metabolism will not last forever.” And I can definitely say it has not lasted. • Over the past couple years, through ups and downs of personal life, my mindset had got the best of me. There’d be days where I would only eat 1 maybe 2 meals a day and have 0 motivation to go the gym. If you’re not providing your body the proper fuel, might as well sit back on the couch. • For ideal lean muscle mass, one should be having at least 4 to 5 meals a day. And that doesn’t mean 4 McDoubles like I used to do 😅.
