Just a friendly reminder that your hard work is worth it. Progress isn’t always linear, but your hard work will pay off. I had a coaching call yesterday with my small group and we talked about looking at the journey from where we started until now. One amazing woman told the group about her progress on hip thrusts this week. When she started working with me a while back, she didn’t want to lift above 12 pound dumbbells because of fears of getting bulky, but now she can hip thrust well over 100 pounds. She is feeling stronger, more toned, and is proud of what her body can do. I am so proud of her and she is truly an inspiration. But…it didn’t happen overnight. She shows up for herself day after day. Every week we check in and some weeks are harder than others, but she (and everyone in the group!) continues to show up, do the work, and encourage one another. Training doesn’t get easier. You get stronger. You get more resilient. You build up habits that make it feel more second nature. It might not be easy, it sure is worth it. Does color analysis work? I had to find out. I hired Rachel from @colourlabstylist to do a color analysis for me and she determined that I’m a “Warm Spring.” She sent me an ebook of my results that goes over the colors that best suit my features, colors to avoid (but obviously, always wear what you like!), best hair color options, make up shades, and so many interesting details. This was a fascinating process. I’m always wanting to learn more about myself and about topics that I don’t know much about, so this was a really cool experience. There are a lot of ways people like to express themselves and this is just another layer and potential art form for self expression. As always, wear what you like and whatever helps you feel confident…because confidence looks best on you 🤍 #thedailykelsey

✨Feeling overwhelmed trying to get in all of your workouts this week? Try this: Often people feel they don’t have enough time to train, but it’s a game changer to view workouts from an effort perspective and not a time commitment. If you have 5-minutes, move intentionally for 5-minutes. If you have 30…give it everything you’ve got. You don’t need an hour to get in a great workout. It’s better to workout for 30-minutes, 3x per week for the rest of your life, than to workout an hour for the next 3 months and then stop because you feel overwhelmed with lack of time. Fitness isn’t something you do, it’s a part of who you are. A little bit goes a long way! Are you a “no new friends” type of person? I’m definitely not. I love all my friends AND I love meeting new ones. No one will ever replace, your long-term ride or dies, but putting yourself out there and meeting new people can add elements to your life that you didn’t know were missing. Thank you to @shannonshape for dreaming up and coordinating the inaugural TAO Sisterhood Dinner! All of these women are entrepreneurs, making and doing incredible things. I was inspired by each one of them. It’s really nice to have real, honest conversation with people (without judgement) because entrepreneurship is hard.
