Spring is coming! When Atlantic puffins returning to the shores of the U.K. next month, these hardy birds would’ve spent the entire winter out on the brutally cold Atlantic Ocean, returning to find their mate from previous years, rearing their chicks, then returning by August. Tough birds. 💪🏼

I’m excited to show you 7 amazing photos of Lions, the rulers of the jungle, along with interesting quotes and facts over the next week.
𝗗𝗮𝘆 - 7 | Dirty Lorkulup
The Black Rock male “Lorkulup” has gained fame for his ability to take down large prey such as buffalo and even multiple prey at once. He is a true beast and has earned a large following due to his impressive hunting skills. Lorkulup is easily distinguishable from other Masai Mara lions due to the large scar on his face, he may be the new Scarface of Mara. Despite his popularity, Lorkulup was scarred by one of the spears used by local tribes in the Masai Mara. We hope that he can continue to live as a wild lion without any danger from humans. Along with his three brothers, Lorkulup rules over vast territories and controls multiple prides with his brothers. They are still in their prime and have much more to offer. The Black Rock males are one of the most fiercest coalitions in the region.
