Last night we celebrated @citymeals with our 26th annual #SundaySupper at @restaurantdaniel and it was a delicious and heartfelt evening. I’m deeply grateful for the overwhelming support we received and the warm welcome from the chefs that joined us for this meaningful dinner. Continuing the long tradition of bringing friends and the best chefs from all over the world, it was my pleasure and an honor for me, @lerouxeddy , @shvelez and @jeanfrancoisbruel to welcome the talented and creative @virgiliocentral , @chefwilliambradley , @chefmarlenevieira , @grattierstephane , and @mawamcqueen . For over 25 years, no organization has been closer to my heart than @CityMeals and its #SundaySupper at @RestaurantDaniel , raising funds to provide meals for homebound elderly New Yorkers in need. For our first Sunday Supper in 1999, I invited my mentors from France to join me, and from then on we have had this wonderful tradition of inviting some of the finest chefs in the world to participate.  So many talented chefs have become a part of our CityMeals family over the years, and it has truly been a joy to work alongside each of them, as well as our Restaurant Daniel team, in service to CityMeals and its dedicated supporters.   This year on March 10, I am honored to welcome five extraordinary chefs who will be joining me in the kitchen for this gala event.  I think I say this every year, but I believe this year will be the best one yet, and we hope to set a new fundraising record for this very important cause.  Many thanks in advance to highly acclaimed chefs @ChefMarleneVieira , @MawaMcQueen , @ChefWilliamBradley , @VirgilioCentral , and @GrattierStephane for generously agreeing to join us this year; I know I am not the only one to be eagerly anticipating what is sure to be a truly inspired and uplifting occasion.  I am looking forward to cooking with you!  Virgilio Martinez - Whose flagship restaurant, @CentralRest , in Peru, has been named #1 for 2023 @TheWorlds50Best Restaurants.
