Hi 👋🏼 everyone. I announced that I was pregnant about a year ago and pretty much fell off the face of the earth… UNLESS you follow me on my personal account then you’ll see all the baby spam 😂😍 Well, I’m not committing to being back and posting regularly but I wanted to make a quick appearance. ☺️🤷🏽‍♀️ This is my little girl, Emery Ann. She is 6 months old already and she’s so cute I could die. 😍 I’m loving being her mom and I’m so grateful to be able to continue working in the Strength and Conditioning world with @BridgeAthletic . When covid hit I was left without a job like many others. My personal training job was fun but was also very unfulfilling in a lot of ways. I miss my clients and coworkers but commercial gymming just isn’t for me. So, I won’t be going back at this time in my life. I’m continuing to work remote for Bridge which fuels my heart and passion for this industry in a way I thought it never would. I’m so grateful to stay employed while being home to watch my little girl grow up (it’s happening too fast 😩) Some other cool updates: - we are officially DEBT FREE 👏🏼 bye bye crippling student loan payments - I got FMS certified - still coaching my swimmers 2x a week - we built out our garage gym 😍 thanks to Craigslist and people selling their equipment now that gyms are opening again I hope you all are well and are staying strong and healthy 🤍💪🏼

Hi guys! It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything so I thought I’d reintroduce myself to my new followers! . 💁🏽‍♀️ HEY! I’m Claire. A lot of people call me Coach Claire (mostly children, but some adults) that’s what inspired my instagram name and later my business 👍🏼 . 💁🏽‍♀️ I grew up playing outside and doing a handful of sports. I started swimming when I was 4/5 years old, played soccer for about 12 years, tae kwon do, dance, and dabbled in some waterpolo. I loved riding my bike, roller blading, and skateboarding as a kid. . 💁🏽‍♀️ I have my degree in kinesiology from Oregon State, I’m an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I love that my education and experiences have given me the tools to help people. . 💁🏽‍♀️ I’m married to a pretty awesome guy. We’ve been together for almost 10 years 😱 . 💁🏽‍♀️ I’m a soon to be mom of a little girl and we are so excited and feel so very blessed to be able to start a family! #18weekspregnant . 💁🏽‍♀️ I love being on the water. Boating, paddle-boarding, and swimming are my activities of choice . 💁🏽‍♀️ My favorite food: fruit salad, pizza, burgers, pasta, and soft serve ice cream. Yes, I eat these things and don’t feel bad about it. #moderation is everything. . ☺️ if we’ve never met, send me a message because I’d love to say hi! Oh! Almost forgot— I added a time lapse of my workout today since I haven’t done that in FOREVER.

I’ve been keeping a little secret the past 3 or 4 months... The word is out now and we are so excited for this new adventure 🥰 . . Recently our lives totally flipped upside down and backwards. . . The first trimester had its ups and downs but mostly it was just a lot of sleeping and carb eating 🥯🥐🧇 I worked out when I could but lost about 10 lbs from not eating a well balanced dieting and hardly working out. Oh well, life happens. Back on the grind now! Gotta be a strong momma for this little one 💪🏼 . . #14weekspregnant #babyneumayr

Been loving AMRAPs lately. (As Many Rounds As Possible) it allows me to move at my own pace and focus on what I’m doing. It give me the freedom to push myself or chill out. # Also, my hair has been in a super messy bun for 90% of this lockdown. 🤦🏽‍♀️ # Here’s a little segment from my dumbbell program soon to be released! 👏🏼 # 10 minute AMRAP (I got through almost 4 rounds) - slider reverse lunge x10ea + dumbbells if you have them. - slider hamstring curls x12 *keep your shoulders relaxed and your core tight. - slider crunch to push up x6 - kettlebell split row x10ea. # 💪🏼Give it a try or save it for later! Let me know what you think in the comments! ☺️

What do you miss about the gym? 🏋🏽‍♂️ . . What I miss: Heavy weights, the competitive environment, and SPACE. My workout room is like 10’x10’. I have some LONG legs so those drop lunges were a struggle 😂 But I am grateful for the space and equipment that I have at home. It’s pretty cool that I have an entire room in my house dedicated to exercise and work. 🙏🏼 . . What I DON’T miss about the gym: The gymshark matching sports bra and leggings fashion show— not hating, but totally not my thing. The other thing was the nervousness I felt in the final days before everything closed down. My anxiety is at ease knowing that I am safe at home. So #stayhome . . . Videos in order of the exercises listed. I gave myself about 5-10 seconds of rest in between exercises and a longer rest at the end of each round. Another way to make body-weight workouts a challenge. . . Give it a try! Tag me and I will repost :) Stay healthy, friends! Bodyweight phase 1 & 2 available NOW! #

Finished off week two of my 4-week program with a killer upper body day 💪🏼 - - - The downward dog overhead presses are perfect if you don’t have any weights and still want to work on overhead pressing. Modify with knees bent or go crazy and do a handstand push up 🤸🏽‍♀️ . Push ups with overhead reach to maintain overhead range of motion, scapular stability, and strength. #noequipment #upperbodyworkout #pushups

Happy Monday Folks! . . Here’s a little healthy living tip during this “Shelter in Place.” For those of you who live under a rock, the Bay Area is starting week 2 of the Shelter in Place. Maybe at this point you have thrown out all of your discipline and meal prep habits but let this be a reminder that it’s not too late to redeem yourself. I know that all of you have oatmeal in your pantry. Eggs, bread, and fresh fruits may be hard to come by right now. . . Don’t let working from home completely derail your nutrition. Have healthy meals, eat enough to keep yourself full for a while, and keep yourself busy to prevent bored snacking. My tip that I have been following since this whole thing started: . Have a good breakfast! Not donuts, not sugary cereal, etc. Eat a wholesome, healthy breakfast that you probably ate before 💩 hit the fan. Eat something to fuel your at home workouts from my program (shameless advertising😂). . . Let’s try to hold on to what was normal so we don’t all lose our minds. Stay healthy my dudes. # #coachclairestrength #breakfast #shelterinplace #nutrition #food #fuel #homeworkouts #health #fitness

My website is officially up and ready for business! . . coachclairestrength.com . . . This week has been crazy for the entire world. However, in our little home, Barry and I have been super productive. 👏🏼 I’ve been able to focus on my personal business and it has been so fun (& a lot of work). My home workout group is KILLING it and I’m just overall so thrilled about the doors being opened. I’ve pretty much had to pause both of my jobs💸💸 (training and coaching) until this whole “shelter in place” gets sorted out. So any extra income is not taken for granted 🙏🏼 thank you to all of you who are so supportive. To the new and long term clients, you’re the best. Love you all 💙 hang in there everybody. We can get through this.

Full time lapse of one of the HIIT sessions in my program. I am DEAD. 💀 . . Notice that I do a proper warm up before I do anything moderate to high intensity. Make sure your body feels good before going 0-100 👍🏼 . . How are you handling being stuck inside? Are you prepared?? . . . So far this quarantine has been successful. More time to work out and more time to get my website set up. Be on the look out 👀 #quarantine #workout #covid19 #strength #healthyhabits

My win for this week! 🙌🏽 I was able to even out my client’s hips 👍🏼. . . There is probably 1-1.5 in of length difference when I had him lay down and relax. 😅 He’s been struggling with some lower back/hip pain lately. Lots of driving in traffic to projects and sitting at his desk for hours on end. This is something we constantly have to correct. . . How did I do this? 1. Foam Rolling 2. Passive stretching and traction 3. Glute activation and SI Joint resets . . Pretty cool if you ask me! He was pretty stoked and felt so much better. . . . #mobility #stretching #strength #cscs #injuryprevention

Throwback with my sprinters fam ❤️ Feeling super nostalgic this week. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I’ve competed with my team. It’s such a shame that OSU ended their program. I wish I could have watched the new group of beavers race. 😔 Luckily, I get to cheer on the swimmers I coached who are racing for other schools in the conference. Good luck you guys! So proud of you all 💙🏊🏽‍♀️ #pac12conference #gobeavs #gobruins #gobears
