I used to walk out of clubs at this time of the morning, now it’s the Masjid and the feeling is always one of peace ❤️ “True wealth is not having an abundance of possessions. True wealth is a contented heart.” - Prophet pbuh 🤲🏾

As humans we are hard wired to connect with something bigger and deeper than ourselves. For some that may take the form of a sports team, a political party, a social cause or anything else that transcended beyond themselves. And life has its way to teach us lessons, put us on our knees and humble us. And the sooner we realise that we need direction, purpose and a bigger end goal, then and only then will our souls feel satisfied. For me this is Islam, which is submission to the one god who created us all. And if ever my videos have made you think, then you owe it to yourself to search for that purpose yourself. Be sincere and say “god if you’re real, then guide me” And if you really want guidance, then it will come. And if you don’t, then I wish you the best.

Small steps, big rewards. In Ramadan, every effort counts. Never forget that even the tiniest positive change can bring immense blessings in your life and those around you. Ramadan comes once a year and we’ve been blessed to see another one. Let’s make the most of our chance to refresh our souls, reconnect with our faith, and improve ourselves in ways we never thought possible. You got this! Bismillah ❤️🤲🏾

It’s not the Palestinians that I’m worried about, they’ve passed their test, they’ve shown us that they’re not shaken by cowards firing rockets behind fortified walls. They’ve kept true to their faith and their covenant with god. And paradise is waiting for the patient, whilst hell is waiting for the tyrants and all those who support them. But it’s actually us who I’m worried about, how we get affected with such small difficulties and we crumble, we lose faith, we question god whilst we still have everything. Thank you my Palestinian brothers and sisters, for you’ve truly taught the world what real Imaan (faith) looks like.

The importance of gratitude is a key to a successful, happy, and content life. Ramadan, the month of the Quran, is a time to reflect on improving not just ourselves, but our households as well. It is important to be grateful for all the blessings in our lives. This morning, after suhoor, we discussed the less fortunate and oppressed, focusing on the plight of the Palestinians. May the Most High ease the hardships of those in need and help us appreciate the freedom and blessings we have, such as access to food and water. Alhamdulillah, sending blessings from our household to yours ❤️🤲🏾.

Ramadan Mubarak fam. This Ramadan in the Williams household we’ve decided to do daily Hadith reading with the kids. As a family it’s important to involve your kids and have them take part in Ramadan as well. I’m keen to hear what you guys have planned this Ramadan. Drop a comment and let me know so others can take inspiration as well.

Ramadan Mubarak, If you’re new, don’t let it overwhelm you. Take it step by step. Focus on your intentions and the reason why you’re doing it and believe me, you’ll find it easier than you ever had imagined. You got this ❤️

A message to my brothers and sisters if this is your first real Ramadan. I remember my first time, and I know how you may feel, you may think you can’t do it and it may seem daunting, but just know that with this little struggle, a great reward awaits you at the end. Focus on your relationship with your creator, and just know that if you’re sincere and you give it your best shot hoping to please him and seek his reward, then your sins will be forgiven. Alhamdulillah. Have a blessed Ramadan ❤️

I’ve learnt over the years that relationships can turn sour over small misunderstandings and the thing that holds us back is our pride and ego. Holding a grudge is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. If we want our lord to be merciful and forgive us, then we need to humble ourselves and forgive others. Humility is difficult to find in today’s world and I’m not perfect either, but being a Muslim and knowing the emphasis Islamic places on being humble and merciful to each other really helps. May Allah make it easy for us all. And if you have a grudge with someone, reach out to them and apologise, even if you were in the right, clear the air and don’t hold it inside you. You’ll feel so much better. Just try it ❤️
